Job summary

North Carolina Department of Adult Correction seeks a Regional Recruiter to build a strong pipeline of qualified applicants for correctional officer roles. You will drive outreach, partner with colleges, boards, and community groups, and convert leads into hires while keeping applicants engaged and informed.

Travel and occasional overnight stays are possible; a state vehicle and recruitment tools will support your efforts as you collaborate with Central HR to meet staffing needs across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or GED with 3 years HR experience.
• Experience with recruitment programs and related HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with colleges, universities, boards, and associations to plan recruitment events.
• Gathering information on recruitment and retention to feedback Central HR.
• Participating in NC DAC career events, job fairs, and networking events.
• Speaking with college students about career opportunities in NC DAC.
• Preparing presentations and maintaining applicant tracking spreadsheets.
• Using advertising, marketing, social media and other sources to promote positions.
• Communicating with applicants and stakeholders at all levels.
