Job summary

Amazon is seeking an IT Support Engineer I to deliver hardware, OS, and enterprise app support across sites in a defined geographic area. You will troubleshoot straightforward issues, implement technical solutions, and partner with teams to improve IT services.

The role involves hands-on problem solving, project work, and occasional travel within the local region. Successful candidates will have 1+ years Windows Server experience and strong networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 1+ years Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM experience.
• 2+ years troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
• 2+ years PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience.
• 2+ years IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
• 2+ years networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP) experience.
• 2+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux OS support in a corporate setting.
• 2+ years of maintaining a corporate network environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting in varied software/hardware environments.
• Ensure infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
• Provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous IT solution improvement.
• Manage local technical projects.
• Maintain or create policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identify root-causes of operational issues and inefficiencies.
• Move up to 49lbs; stand and walk during shifts up to 12 hours.
• Support customers from multiple buildings and remote locations.
• Travel within local/regional area to support customers.
