Amazon is seeking an IT Support Engineer I for the Ops Tech Solutions (OTS) group. This role supports IT infrastructure, operating systems, and enterprise software across a defined geographic area, troubleshooting routine issues, and delivering high-quality technical assistance.

You will help manage local projects, develop IT processes, and travel within the region to assist customers across multiple buildings and remote sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience
• 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment
• 2+ years of networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP) experience
• 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation
• 1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience
• Fluent in Cisco/networking and either Linux and/or Microsoft
• Possess and maintain a current, valid Driver License

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting across diverse software/hardware environments.
• Ensuring infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
• Interacting with management and staff to provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous improvement of IT solutions.
• Managing local technical projects.
• Maintaining or creating policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identifying root-causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies.
• Moving up to 49lbs and standing/walking during 12-hour shifts.
• Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.
• Traveling within your local or regional area to support our customers.
