Job summary

Amazon seeks an IT Support Engineer I for the Ops Tech Solutions team. You will implement technical solutions and provide high quality support for computer hardware, operating systems, or enterprise application software across sites in a defined geographical area.

Qualifications

High school or equivalent diploma.
2+ years of professional experience.
2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
2+ years of networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP).
2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience.
1+ years IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
Fluent in Cisco networking and either Linux and/or Microsoft.
Possess and maintain a current, valid Driver License.

Responsibilities

Network engineering and troubleshooting across various software and hardware environments.
Ensure infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
Provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous IT improvements.
Manage local technical projects.
Create and maintain policies, procedures, and processes.
Identify root causes of operational issues and inefficiencies.
Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk during 12-hour shifts.
Support customers from multiple buildings and remote sites.
Travel within local or regional area to support customers.
