Job summary

Amazon is seeking an IT Support Engineer I for the Ops Tech Solutions (OTS) team. You will implement technical solutions and provide high-quality support for computer hardware, operating systems, or enterprise software across sites in a defined geographical area.

You will troubleshoot straightforward problems, work with management and staff to improve IT solutions, and support local and remote customers while traveling within the region.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Windows Server technologies (AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM).
• 2+ years in troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
• 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience.
• 1+ year IT client, server and network service delivery experience.
• 2+ years networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, TCP/IP) experience.
• 2+ years Windows, Mac or Linux OS support in a corporate setting.
• 2+ years maintaining a corporate network environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting in varied software/hardware environments.
• Ensure infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
• Provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous IT improvements.
• Manage local technical projects.
• Create and maintain policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identify root causes of operational issues and inefficiencies.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk during 12-hour shifts.
• Support customers from multiple buildings and remote sites.
• Travel within local/regional area to support customers.
