Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring an IT Support Engineer I to implement technical solutions and deliver high-quality hardware, OS, and software support across sites in a defined geographic area. You will troubleshoot straightforward problems and align with SOPs where applicable.

The role emphasizes ownership of IT infrastructure, project delivery, and customer support, with opportunities to travel regionally to assist customers and improve IT solutions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
• 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience.
• 1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
• 2+ years of networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP) experience.
• 2+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux OS support in a corporate environment.
• 2+ years of maintaining a corporate network environment.

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting across various software and hardware environments.
• Ensuring infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
• Provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous IT solutions improvement.
• Managing local technical projects.
• Maintaining or creating policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identifying root-causes of operational issues and inefficiencies.
• Supporting customers from multiple buildings and remote locations.
• Traveling within local or regional area to support customers.
