Job summary

Amazon is seeking an IT Support Engineer I to implement technical solutions and provide high quality support for computer hardware, operating systems, or enterprise software across sites in a defined geographical area. You will troubleshoot and resolve straightforward problems, escalating when necessary.

Responsibilities include network engineering, infrastructure availability during production, and coordinating local technical projects.

Qualifications

1+ years of Windows Server technologies (AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM).
2+ years troubleshooting in multi-user high availability environments.
2+ years PC repair, deployment and troubleshooting experience.
1+ years IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
2+ years networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, TCP/IP).
2+ years of Windows/Mac/Linux OS support in a corporate network.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Network engineering and troubleshooting across hardware/software environments.
Ensure infrastructure networking and computing systems are available during production hours.
Provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous IT solutions improvement.
Manage local technical projects and maintain policies and processes.
Identify root causes of operational issues and inefficiencies.
Support customers from multiple buildings and traveling within local area.
