Job Summary
We are seeking a professional Receptionist/Administrative Support professional for a high-visibility front desk role in Northridge, CA. This opportunity is ideal for an organized, polished, and dependable administrator who enjoys being the first point of contact for visitors, employees, vendors, and internal teams. This role supports a structured, security-focused business environment connected to technology, aerospace, and innovation. Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, clients, contractors, and employees while providing a professional and welcoming front desk experience.
- Manage visitor logs, site badges, parking passes, garage validations, and after-hours access according to established security procedures.
- Process employee and contractor badge access requests through internal ticketing systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized lobby, reception area, and workroom to support a polished office environment.
- Manage incoming and outgoing small package mail, domestic shipping, and general office supply orders.
- Communicate catering deliveries, visitor arrivals, and internal updates through email, Slack, and other internal communication tools.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support daily front desk reception, visitor management, and administrative coordination.
- Manage badge access, parking logistics, visitor records, and security-related front desk processes.
- Coordinate mail, shipping, office supplies, lobby organization, and internal communications.
- Use internal systems to track requests, communicate updates, and maintain accurate records.
- 3 or more years of receptionist, front desk, administrative support, or front office coordination experience.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
- Professional communication skills and a polished, customer-focused demeanor.
- Comfort using internal communication tools, ticketing systems, visitor management software, and standard office technology.
- Ability to follow site procedures, security protocols, and confidentiality requirements.
- Willingness to comply with ITAR-related requirements and sign a confidentiality agreement.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to manage multiple front desk priorities in a structured office environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a secure office, corporate reception desk, aerospace, technology, defense, or regulated business environment.
- Familiarity with Lenel, RightCrowd, SIM ticketing, Slack, or similar visitor management and internal communication systems.
- Experience handling badge access, parking coordination, mailroom support, supply ordering, or facilities-related administrative tasks.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and detail-oriented while managing visitors, requests, and time-sensitive front desk activity.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $23.06 to $25.55 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Employment type: Temporary contract assignment.
- Assignment length: 2 to 3 months.
- Location: Northridge, CA.
