Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist in the maintenance processes of a community, including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic tasks. This role operates under the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to support make-ready and safety initiatives.

The position emphasizes hands-on maintenance, resident relations, and timely response to work orders, with required on-site attendance and potential on-call duties to ensure a well-maintained property.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community areas and units in a timely manner.
• Assist with maintenance/repair-related turn events and daily exterior upkeep.
• Perform pool maintenance, log chemical records, and monitor safety of grounds and buildings.
• Maintain preventative maintenance programs and ensure safety policies are followed.
• Support on-call emergency duties and maintain accurate maintenance records.
