Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our property operations nationwide. The role covers corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision.

You will perform make-ready tasks, inspect grounds and buildings, maintain the maintenance shop, and respond to resident requests. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required; OSHA and Fair Housing knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must have knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance of the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks.
• Perform make-ready process under supervision to meet property objectives.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly for common areas, buildings, and units.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program to extend the life of the property.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and amenities daily for hazards and safety improvements.
• Maintain organized maintenance shop and follow OSHA safety guidelines.
• Participate in on-call emergency at the community.
• Report violations to Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Assist with inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Keep records of service requests, EPA/OSHA standards, and make-ready status.
