Job summary

Asset Living is hiring a Maintenance Technician to assist with maintenance processes across a property, including routine, corrective, emergency, and cosmetic tasks under supervision. You will participate in make-ready work, ensure safety standards, and support the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager daily.

The role requires on-site attendance, a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and knowledge of safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features to identify hazards and address them.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and maintain chemical logs.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program to extend life of the community.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with inventory and records of service requests and repairs.
• Participate in on-call emergencies at the community.
• Ensure safety standards and OSHA guidelines are followed.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized maintenance shop and report violations to supervisor.
