AppleOne is seeking a Property Maintenance Tech-Piru for a direct hire role in Piru, CA. You will work to keep residential homes and common areas well-maintained, addressing plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks while ensuring safety and high resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include apartment turnarounds, preventive maintenance, and timely response to resident requests. A Monday–Friday schedule with an comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of relevant maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience in apartment maintenance, property management, facilities, or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall repair and basic carpentry.
  • Valid California Driver's License required.
  • Clean DMV record required.
  • Current auto insurance required.
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Property Maintenance Tech-Piru for a direct hire opportunity supporting a residential housing community in Piru, CA. This role is ideal for a hands‑on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting, completing quality repairs, and helping maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming living environment for residents.

The right candidate will work closely with residents, management, and vendors while contributing to well‑maintained homes, common areas, and overall curb appeal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and basic carpentry.
  • Complete apartment turnarounds, make-ready units, and repair work to prepare homes for new residents.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, routine property inspections, and safety checks.
  • Maintain common areas, grounds, exterior spaces, and overall curb appeal.
  • Respond professionally to resident maintenance requests and occasional after‑hours emergencies.
  • Coordinate with property management, residents, and vendors to complete work efficiently and with strong customer service.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay: $21 to $23 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Job Type: Direct hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Perform residential property maintenance, repairs, and apartment make‑ready work.
  • Support preventive maintenance, property inspections, and resident service requests.

  • Assist with occasional after‑hours maintenance emergencies as needed.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience in apartment maintenance, property management, facilities, residential housing, or a similar environment.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall repair, general repairs, and basic carpentry.
  • Valid California Driver's License required.
  • Clean DMV record required.
  • Current auto insurance required.
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening.
  • Reliable, self‑motivated, safety‑minded, and customer‑service oriented.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with residents, management, and vendors.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.
