Job summary

The Westminster Company seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep the property well maintained and safe. You will prepare vacant units for occupancy, control costs with contractors, and uphold curb appeal and preventive maintenance standards.

You will respond to resident requests, assist the site manager with inspections and budgeting, and ensure safety protocols are followed in all tasks.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years maintenance experience.
• General knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, plumbing and electrical work.
• High school diploma or trade school equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Makes vacant apartments ready for occupancy, averaging five days.
• Keeps property on-call 24/7 for emergencies and coordinates contractor work.
• Maintains grounds, curb appeal and safety, and performs preventive maintenance.
• Assists site manager with inspections, budgets, bids, and resident communications.
• Ensures safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
