Job summary

Westminster is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to keep our properties safe, functional, and appealing for residents. You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance maintenance; handle on-call emergencies; complete make-readies for new residents; and collaborate with management to plan larger projects.

Requirements include 1–3 years of hands-on maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and familiarity with work order

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of property maintenance or handyman experience.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable using work order systems and mobile apps.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and climbing ladders.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of repairs from plumbing and electrical work to HVAC and appliance maintenance.
• Complete make-readies for incoming residents and keep common areas pristine.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to maintenance emergencies.
• Prioritize repairs with the property management team for larger projects.
• Deliver responsive, friendly customer service to residents and team members.
• Collaborate to plan and execute maintenance on a rotating on-call schedule.
