Job summary

Westminster is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to keep our properties safe, functional, and welcoming for residents. You’ll troubleshoot repairs, perform make-readies, and handle routine upkeep.

Bring 1–3 years of handyman experience, knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll work with a friendly team on a rotating on-call schedule and deliver great service.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of property maintenance or handyman work.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs.
• Certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders.
• Problem-solving mindset with customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.
• Complete make-readies for incoming residents.
• Paint, carpentry, and general upkeep to keep properties attractive.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies; rotate on-call.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with property management on repairs and larger projects.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents.
