Job summary

Westminster is seeking a energetic Property Maintenance Technician to keep our properties safe, functional, and welcoming for residents. You’ll be hands-on, solve problems, and ensure every detail shines.

You’ll tackle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs, handle make-readies for new residents, and participate in on-call emergencies on a rotating schedule, while delivering friendly, professional service.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of property maintenance, handyman work, or a related field.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs.
• Certifications are a plus; HVAC certification is required.
• Tech-savvy with work order systems or mobile apps to track tasks.

Responsibilities

• Be the Fix-It Pro handling repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliance maintenance.
• Complete make-readies for incoming residents.
• Paint, carpentry, and general upkeep to keep the property attractive.
• Tackle maintenance requests and emergencies on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Stay ahead with preventative maintenance to keep equipment in top shape.
• Collaborate with property management to plan large projects.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing concerns quickly and professionally.
