Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to assist in maintaining our properties and support the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. The role covers on-site maintenance, grounds care, and responsive service to residents and management requests.

A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required, along with knowledge of safety and housing regulations. Regular daily on-site work, adherence to safety standards, and participation in on-call emergencies are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use on-site software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Responsible for cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds, buildings, breezeways, and community common areas.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure all repairs and replacements for grounds, buildings, breezeways, and community common areas are completed in a timely manner.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify hazards.
• Assist in maintaining a preventative maintenance program.
• Maintain a well-organized maintenance shop and adhere to safety standards.
• Participate in on-call emergencies at the community.
• Provide customer & resident relations and monitor service requests turnaround.
• Project a favorable image of the community and enforce policies delegated by supervisor.
