Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to support property maintenance across the community. The role involves assisting in corrective, preventative, and cosmetic tasks under the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Daily on-site presence, cleanliness, and timely responses to requests are essential. Responsibilities include grounds and building upkeep, safety inspections, and participating in unit inspections while promoting excellent resident relations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out the maintenance processes of the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Perform regular/daily onsite attendance and maintain common areas.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community spaces in a timely manner.
• Ensure repairs and replacements for grounds, buildings, and common areas are completed promptly.
• Inspect grounds and facilities daily to identify hazards or liability concerns.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining safety programs and procedures.
• Participate in unit inspections as requested and assist in on-call emergencies.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a favorable image of the property.
• Enforce community policies delegated by the supervisor.
