Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to assist in all maintenance activities across our community portfolio. The role covers routine, preventative, corrective, and cosmetic tasks under supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

You will handle on-site cleaning, grounds upkeep, and respond to work orders from residents and management while ensuring safety and adherence to policies. This position requires basic computer skills and on-site presence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance of the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic tasks.
• Perform cleaning, trash removal, and upkeep of grounds and common areas.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily to identify hazards and ensure safety.
• Participate in on-call emergencies at the community and follow safety guidelines.
• Support in maintaining a preventative maintenance program to extend property life.
