Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to assist in carrying out maintenance processes across its properties. The role requires regular on-site attendance and involves cleaning, repairs, and responding to resident requests to maintain image and safety of the community.

The position emphasizes safety, adherence to PPE and OSHA standards, and collaboration with the Maintenance Supervisor. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required, with opportunities to contribute to a growing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance: perform corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Clean, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds, buildings, breezeways, and common areas.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure repairs and replacements are completed in a timely manner.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and community features daily to identify hazards.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program to extend life of the community.
• Maintain Asset key policy and a well-organized maintenance shop.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor and participate in unit inspections.
• Report observed violations of community rules to Maintenance Supervisor/Community Manager.
• Provide excellent customer and resident relations; monitor service request turnaround.
• Enforce community policies as delegated by supervisor.
