Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to support maintenance across the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic tasks. You will assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to keep common areas and grounds well-maintained and safe.

The role requires regular on-site presence, basic computer skills, and a commitment to excellent resident relations. A high school diploma is required, with knowledge of safety standards and applicable housing laws.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular/daily onsite maintenance and keep grounds and common areas clean.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Maintain a safe, organized maintenance shop following safety standards.
• Assist in preventative maintenance to extend the life of the community.
• Participate in on-call emergency at the community.
• Provide excellent customer service and positive resident relations.
