Job summary

HDR is seeking a Principal Project Manager in the United States to lead large, multi-disciplinary infrastructure programs within the Transportation Leadership team. You will advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects, while shaping program governance and delivery.

You'll plan, direct, and monitor diverse work, coordinate resources, and promote accountability across teams to deliver complex mobility projects with superior outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Sciences, Planning, or related field.
• Professional certifications and senior program management experience are required.
• Experience leading large, multi-disciplinary infrastructure programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects.
• Plan, direct, and monitor program execution across multiple disciplines.
• Identify risks, deploy resources, and guide problem-solving and decisions.
• Develop program management plans and drive team alignment and accountability.
• Manage large program teams or mega-projects and ensure contract compliance.
• Monitor performance and maintain QA/QC processes and financials.
