Job summary

HDR is seeking a Principal Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary infrastructure programs within the Transportation Business Group. The role requires delivering the largest and most complex programs, with a strong focus on client advisory, governance, and risk management.

You will plan, direct and monitor program execution across disciplines such as planning, design, construction, cost control and environmental compliance, mentor staff, and collaborate with the HDR Transportation Leadership

Qualifications

• Ten years of program management experience with at least four years as a Senior Program Manager.
• Experience leading multiple programs with capital value of $500M+.
• Licenses/certifications such as PE, PMP, PgMP, AICP or CCM preferred.
• Knowledge of alternative delivery methods (DB, PDB, CMAR) and PMO collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects.
• Direct planning, directing, and monitoring program execution across disciplines.
• Develop plans and tools to drive efficiency, accountability, and transparency.
• Monitor performance, risk, and financials to meet earnings targets.
