Job summary

Cloudflare seeks a Customer Engineer to drive the technical go-to-market strategy, owning the relationship from discovery through long-term adoption and expansion. You will operate as a quota-bearing technologist, using AI-augmented workflows to reduce admin toil and focus on architecture and measurable business outcomes across the customer journey.

Reporting to the Regional Customer Engineering Leader, you’ll partner with Account Executives and align technical solutions with customer goals,

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer‑facing technical role.
• Broad technical expertise spanning web security, networking, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
• Commercial mindset with SaaS metrics understanding.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Technical Validation: lead discovery, build architectures, deliver demos/PoCs across Cloudflare portfolio.
• Trusted Advisory throughout the customer lifecycle with ongoing engagement.
• Strategic Alignment: ensure long-term technical alignment with business goals.
• Commercial Accountability & Expansion: quota‑carrying, drive platform adoption, identify cross-sell opportunities.
• AI Orchestration & Workflow Automation: leverage AI to automate routine tasks and focus on advisory.
