Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Customer Engineer to drive the technical go-to-market strategy in a quota-bearing role. You will own the technical relationship from discovery through adoption and expansion, partnering with Account Executives to craft bespoke architectures and demos across Security, Networking and Developer Platforms.

The role emphasizes AI-augmented workflows to reduce administrative toil and a focus on high-value architectural design and measurable business outcomes across the customer

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering.
• Broad technical acumen spanning web security, networking, cloud infrastructure and developer platforms.
• Commercial mindset with experience in quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management bridging technical details and C-suite strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with Account Executives and design bespoke architectures and PoCs across Cloudflare’s portfolio.
• Own onboarding, health, risk, and expansion strategy, serving as primary engineering contact for the customer.
• Drive quarterly business reviews translating platform capabilities into business value for executives.
• Maintain continuous relationships with key stakeholders through onboarding, renewal and expansion.
• Leverage AI-augmented workflows to automate routine tasks and focus on advisory.
