Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Customer Engineer to drive technical go-to-market strategy and own the technical relationship from discovery to long-term adoption and expansion.

You will operate as a quota-carrying technologist within the GTM organization, using AI-augmented workflows to reduce administrative toil and focus on architectural design and measurable business outcomes across the customer journey.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineer.
• Broad technical expertise spanning web security, networking, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
• Commercial mindset with understanding of SaaS metrics and enterprise sales cycles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bilingual in English and Cantonese to support Hong Kong customers.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare developer tools and AI ecosystem.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and build bespoke architectures with Account Executives.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Align technical relationships with customer business goals and product roadmap.
• Carry a quota tied to new business and account growth; lead QBRs.
• Leverage AI agents to automate routine tasks and enable strategic advisory.
