Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Customer Engineer to drive the technical go-to-market and own the relationship from discovery through adoption and expansion. You will be a quota-carrying technologist leveraging AI-augmented workflows to reduce administrative toil and focus on high-value architectural outcomes.

Based in Los Angeles or willing to work in California, you will partner with Account Executives, lead PoCs, onboard customers, monitor health, and drive QBRs to translate platform capabilities

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineer).
• Broad technical expertise spanning web security, networking, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, business value translation, and enterprise sales cycles.
• Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical Validation: lead discovery, build bespoke architectures, and deliver demos/PoCs across Cloudflare’s portfolio.
• Customer Adoption & Value Realization: oversee onboarding and implementation, own discovery, demos, onboarding, health, risk, and expansion.
• Commercial Accountability & Expansion: carry a quota and drive platform adoption, revenue retention, and cross-sell opportunities; lead QBRs.
