Job summary

Cloudflare is hiring a Customer Engineer to drive technical discovery, architecture design, and successful adoption across major customers in a quota-bearing role. You will partner with Account Executives to demonstrate Cloudflare's security, networking and developer platform capabilities, and guide customers through onboarding and ongoing expansion.

Ideal candidates will combine deep engineering knowledge with strong communication, to translate technical results into business value for C-level

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering.
• Broad technical knowledge across web security, networking, cloud infrastructure and enterprise architecture.
• Quota/c revenue-aligned experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and build bespoke architectures with Account Executives.
• Deliver product demos and PoCs across Cloudflare’s portfolio.
• Oversee onboarding, technical health, risk, and expansion strategy with customers.
• Carry a variable quota tied to new business acquisition and account growth.
• Act as a trusted adviser throughout the customer lifecycle, including AI-enabled workflows.
