Job summary

SHI International Corp. in the Northeast United States is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – SecOps/SIEM to join our customer-facing security team.

You will serve as a subject matter expert in SIEM platform engineering, onboarding log sources, developing detection and correlation content, and integrating with SOAR, EDR/XDR, and ticketing platforms. You will collaborate with account teams and clients' CIOs, CSOs, CISOs, and Security Engineers to design and deliver security operations

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience required.
• 3–5 years in a similar cyber security role.
• 5+ years in a technical cybersecurity role.
• 3+ years in Security Pre-Sales Consulting.
• Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer events.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to evaluate customers' cybersecurity needs.
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling and technologies.
• Stay current on market trends and industry landscape.
• Develop collateral and use cases to support engagements.
• Engage in lab work to expand job-related knowledge and skills.
• Understand SHI services offerings across solution practices.
