Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – SecOps/SIEM to act as a security expert in SIEM and SecOps, helping customers design and implement effective operations solutions.

The role covers log onboarding, detection and correlation rule development, content management, tuning, and integration with SOAR, EDR/XDR, threat intel, and ticketing platforms. The position is remote, requiring residence in the Northeast US for business needs and management direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years in a similar cybersecurity role.
• 5+ years in a technical cybersecurity role.
• 3+ years in Security Pre-Sales Consulting.
• Willingness to travel to SHI, partner and customer events.
• Experience in identity management and security solutions.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to evaluate customers' cybersecurity needs.
• Demonstrate security solutions and run product demos for clients.
• Understand SHI services offerings across solution practice areas.
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling through training.
• Stay current on new technology trends and market behavior.
• Engage in lab work to increase job-related knowledge and skills.
• Develop collateral to support cybersecurity sales engagements.
• Create use cases in SHI lab to assist sales engagements.
