Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead planning and execution of power infrastructure programs. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with clients and HDR leadership, and ensure delivery within scope and budget.

The role emphasizes governance, risk management, and collaboration across engineering, project controls, routing and siting, environmental, and real estate teams. HDR values employee ownership and inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration, or closely related field.
• Minimum program management experience as deputy to Program Manager or Project Manager with large capital value.
• Experience with alternative delivery methods (DB, PDB, CMAR) and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver power projects (T&D, power generation, renewables).
• Serve as primary client contact for scope, contracts, and performance.
• Advise on delivery strategies, regulatory considerations, and budget control.
• Direct and manage HDR staff and subconsultants across engineering, controls, environmental, real estate, and communications.
• Assess staffing needs and ensure resources align with contract scope.
