Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead planning and execution of power infrastructure programs for diverse clients. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, advise leadership on delivery strategies, and ensure governance, controls and staffing meet contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration, or closely related field.
• Program management experience as described: deputy role to Program Manager for large capital value, or 5–10+ years as Project Manager/Controls Manager for large programs.
• Familiar with PMIS, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and dashboard analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver power projects (T&D, generation, renewables) per client outcomes.
• Serve as primary client contact for scope, contract management, program performance, work planning, staffing.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, strategic delivery, financial aspects of power programs.
• Direct and manage HDR staff and subconsultants across engineering, controls, routing/siting, environmental, real estate, communications, data management.
• Assess staffing needs and secure resources; ensure contract compliance and QA/QC.
• Facilitate risk workshops; develop qualitative/quantitative risk management plans.
• Develop and implement program management plans, processes, and tools to drive efficiencies and transparency.
• Collaborate with project controls to monitor scope, schedule and budget; adjust to meet metrics.
• Prepare monthly program reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage with business development to identify growth opportunities and support proposals.
• Travel approximately 25%.
