Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead the planning and execution of electric power projects for its clients. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, or Business Administration or closely related field.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or closely related field preferred.
• Professional Engineers License and/or PMP Certification preferred.
• Experience implementing PMIS such as E-Builder, ProCore, Kahua, Oracle Primavera, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver T&D, power generation, renewable energy, etc. projects.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients regarding scope, contract management, program performance, work planning and staffing.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, strategic planning, delivery strategies and financial aspects of power programs.
• Direct and manage services provided by a program team including engineering, project controls, routing and siting, environmental, real estate, strategic communication, data management.
• Assess staffing needs and secure resources to deliver services, promote team alignment and implement QA/QC programs.
• Facilitate risk workshops with clients and internal risk professionals; develop risk management plans.
• Develop and implement program management plans, business processes, and tools to drive efficiencies and transparency.
• Work with project controls to monitor scope, schedule and budget against metrics and adjust to meet budget.
• Prepare monthly program reports or dashboards for internal and client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business development to identify growth prospects and support proposals.
• Travel on average 25% of the time.
