Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead planning and execution of power infrastructure programs for our clients. You’ll guide multidisciplinary teams including engineering, project controls, environmental and real estate to meet scope, schedule and budget while delivering value for HDR and its clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, planning or business.
• 3–10+ years in program management on multi-project capital programs.
• Excellent communication; able to present to executives and diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver T&D, power generation, renewable energy projects as defined by clients.
• Serve as primary client contact for scope, contracts, program performance, work planning and staffing.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, strategic delivery approaches and financial aspects of power programs.
• Direct and manage services by HDR staff and subconsultants (engineering, controls, routing, environment, real estate, communications, data management).
• Assess staffing needs and secure resources; promote team alignment and implement QA/QC to meet client expectations.
• Facilitate risk workshops and collaborate on risk management plans with internal professionals.
• Develop and implement program management plans and tools to drive efficiencies and transparency.
• Coordinate with project controls to monitor scope, schedule, and budget against metrics; adjust as needed.
• Prepare monthly program reports and dashboards for internal and client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business development to identify growth opportunities and support proposals.
• Travel on average 25% of the time.
