Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead the planning and execution of power infrastructure programs for clients, including T&D, generation, and renewables. You will guide a multidisciplinary HDR team and serve as the client’s trusted advisor on governance, strategy, and delivery. Travel about 25% is expected.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and delivering value in complex, large-scale projects that shape the energy future.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or closely related field.
  • Professional Engineers License and/or PMP Certification.
  • Experience implementing PMIS (E-Builder, ProCore, Kahua, Oracle Primavera, etc).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration, or a closely related field

Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver T&D, power generation, renewable energy projects.
  • Serve as primary client contact for scope, contract management, and program performance.
  • Advise on technical, regulatory, strategic planning, and delivery strategies.
  • Direct and manage HDR staff and subconsultants across engineering, controls, routing, environment, real estate, and communications.
  • Ensure staffing resources and QA/QC processes meet contract requirements.
