Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead planning and execution of power infrastructure programs for diverse clients. You will guide cross-disciplinary teams, manage scope, budget, and schedules, and report program health to clients and HDR leadership.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and experience delivering large-scale projects using alternative delivery methods. Travel is expected around 25% as projects span multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• Program management experience with a cumulative capital value thresholds as specified for deputy/PM/PMO roles.
• Strong leadership skills with experience building a cohesive team culture and managing team members in various locations.
• Experience with PMIS, CMIS, scheduling-cost control, risk management, asset management, dashboard analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver power infrastructure projects including T&D, power generation, renewable energy.
• Serve as primary client contact regarding scope, contract management, program performance, and staffing.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, strategic planning and delivery aspects of power programs.
• Direct and manage services provided by HDR staff and subconsultants across engineering, controls, routing/siting, environmental, real estate, strategic communications, data management.
• Develop program management plans, processes, and tools to drive efficiencies and accountability.
• Monitor scope, schedule and budget with project controls; adjust as needed to meet budget and avoid losses.
• Prepare monthly program reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business development to identify growth prospects and support proposals.
• Travel approximately 25%.
