Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead planning and execution of power infrastructure projects for our clients. You will manage a diverse, multidisciplinary team and serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership on delivery strategies, processes, and governance.

The role requires strong leadership, broad program management experience, and a focus on client interests and HDR’s culture of inclusion and ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration, or closely related field.
• PM experience delivering programs with large capital value (e.g., multiple programs with $50M+ or $200M+).
• Experience with PMIS and/or project controls tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver power projects (T&D, generation, renewables).
• Primary client contact for scope, contract management, and program performance.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, strategic delivery and budgeting aspects.
• Direct/manage HDR staff and subconsultants across engineering, controls, environmental, real estate, and communications.
• Assess staffing needs and ensure resources to meet contract scope and QA/QC standards.
• Develop and implement program management plans and tools to drive efficiency and accountability.
• Prepare monthly program reports and dashboards for internal and client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business development to identify growth opportunities.
