Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead planning and execution of power infrastructure programs for global clients. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, advise executives on delivery strategies, and ensure performance against scope, schedule, and budget.

The role requires strong leadership, communications with client leadership, and experience with PMIS and alternative delivery methods; travel is expected, and HDR emphasizes employee ownership and inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or closely related field.
• Professional Engineers License and/or PMP Certification.
• Experience implementing PMIS such as E-Builder, ProCore, Kahua, Oracle Primavera, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver T&D, power generation, renewable energy projects.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients regarding scope, contract management, program performance.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, strategic planning, delivery strategies and financial aspects.
• Direct and manage services by a program team including HDR staff and subconsultants.
• Assess staffing needs and secure resources; promote team alignment and QA/QC.
• Facilitate risk workshops with clients and develop risk management plans.
• Develop and implement program management plans, processes and tools.
• Work with project controls to monitor scope, schedule and budget.
• Prepare monthly program reports or dashboards for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business development for growth prospects.
• Travel on average 25% of the time.
