Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead the planning and execution of programs for our power clients. You will guide multidisciplinary teams and act as a trusted advisor to client leadership, overseeing scope, schedule, and budget to ensure program success.

You will manage teams across HDR and sub‑consultants, develop PM plans, monitor performance, and deliver monthly reports. Travel about 25% is expected as part of stakeholder engagement and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration, or closely related field.
• Program management experience: deputy PM for one or more programs with $200M+ capital value, or 5+ years as PM/Controls Manager for programs $200M+ each, or 10+ years directing multi-disciplinary teams for at least two programs $50M+.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver power transmission, distribution, generation, and renewable energy projects.
• Serve as primary client contact for scope, contracts, performance, planning, staffing, and related matters.
• Develop and implement program management plans and dashboards; monitor scope, schedule, budget, and risks.
