Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead planning and execution of power infrastructure programs for diverse clients.

You will guide a multidisciplinary team, advise on delivery strategies, and ensure governance and effective program management. You will work with HDR staff and subconsultants to deliver projects on schedule, within scope, and budget while maintaining HDR’s commitment to quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver T&D, power generation, renewable energy projects to client-defined outcomes.
• Serve as primary client contact for scope, contract management, program performance and staffing.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, strategic, delivery aspects of power programs.
• Direct and manage HDR and subconsultant teams across engineering, controls, environmental, real estate, and communications.
• Assess staffing needs and secure resources to meet contract scope and QA/QC standards.
• Facilitate risk workshops and develop risk management plans with HDR risk professionals.
• Develop and implement program management plans, processes, and tools to drive efficiency and transparency.
• Monitor scope, schedule, and budget with project controls; adjust to meet targets.
• Prepare monthly program reports and dashboards for internal teams and clients.
• Collaborate with business development to identify growth opportunities and support proposals.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time.
