Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead the planning and execution of power infrastructure programs for diverse clients. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, serve as the primary client contact, and advise on delivery strategies, contracts, and governance.

A strong emphasis on leadership, risk management, and QA/QC is expected. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, with preferred master’s degree and professional licenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• Master’s degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or closely related field.
• Professional Engineers License and/or PMP Certification.
• Experience implementing PMIS (e.g., E-Builder, ProCore, Kahua, Oracle Primavera).
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to present to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver power infrastructure projects.
• Serve as primary client contact on scope, contracts, and program performance.
• Advise clients on delivery strategies, regulatory and financial aspects.
• Direct and manage HDR staff and subconsultants across engineering, controls, routing, environment, real estate, and communications.
• Develop program management plans and tools to drive efficiency and accountability.
• Monitor scope, schedule, budget and adjust to meet targets.
• Prepare monthly program reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business development to identify growth opportunities.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time.
