Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead planning and execution of programs for power clients. You will manage multidisciplinary HDR and subconsultant teams, coordinate scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure contract compliance. Strong communication, leadership, and risk-management skills are essential.

Travel about 25% is expected. You will advise clients on technical and strategic delivery approaches and collaborate with internal teams to maximize program value and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field and proven program management experience.
• PMIS experience with tools like E-Builder, ProCore, Kahua or Primavera.
• Strong leadership, communication skills and client-facing ability.
• Experience delivering large, multi-project programs (> $50M each).
• Familiarity with alternative delivery methods (DB, PDB, CMAR).

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver power projects and programs.
• Serve as primary client contact for scope, performance and planning.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory and delivery strategies.
• Direct and manage HDR and subconsultant teams with QA/QC focus.
• Assess staffing needs and secure resources to meet contract scope.
• Facilitate risk workshops and develop risk management plans.
• Develop program management plans, processes and dashboards.
• Monitor scope, schedule and budget with project controls.
• Prepare monthly program reports and client updates.
• Support business development and proposals with staffing plans.
