Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead planning and execution of complex power infrastructure programs for our clients. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, act as a trusted advisor to leadership, and ensure delivery on scope, schedule, and budget.

You’ll collaborate with HDR staff and subconsultants to drive governance, risk management, and process improvements across diverse projects while supporting HDR’s employee-owned culture and growth in the energy sector.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills and clear communication with client executives.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration.
• Experience using PMIS tools such as E-Builder, ProCore, Kahua, or Oracle Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver power projects (T&D, generation, renewables).
• Serve as primary client contact for scope, performance, and staffing.
• Advise on technical, regulatory, and delivery strategies for power programs.
• Direct and manage HDR staff and subconsultants across project phases.
• Monitor scope, schedule, budget, and QA/QC to meet client expectations.
• Develop program management plans and governance structures.
• Travel ~25% of the time.
