Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead the planning and execution of power infrastructure programs for our clients. You will manage a diverse team of HDR staff and subconsultants, serving as a trusted advisor to the client leadership and guiding governance and delivery.

The successful candidate will ensure project success across scope, schedule, and budget. This role requires strong communication, proven program-management experience on large capital programs, and a willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and program management experience.
• Experience with large capital programs and client-facing roles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and risk management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver T&D, power generation, and renewable energy projects.
• Serve as primary client contact for scope, contract, and performance.
• Advise on technical, regulatory, and delivery strategies.
• Direct and manage HDR staff and subconsultants within program teams.
• Assess staffing needs and ensure resource availability for contracts.
• Facilitate risk workshops and develop risk management plans.
• Develop and implement program management plans and tools.
• Monitor scope, schedule and budget; adjust to meet metrics.
• Prepare monthly program reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business development for growth opportunities.
• Travel on average 25% of the time.
