Job summary

Saab AB in the United States is seeking a Post-Delivery Program Manager to oversee sustainment for multiple DoD products after hardware delivery. You will be the main contact for post-delivery activities, coordinating with program leadership, customers, and Saab teams across the lifecycle of fielded systems.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and a focus on quality, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement to meet performance objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience in Project Management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Visio, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and time management skills with proactive follow-up.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced, decentralized environment.
• Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles for continuous improvement.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Secret Security Clearance currently held.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for post-delivery activities with leadership, customers, and Saab teams.
• Provide leadership oversight of depot and customer support activities and control cost/schedule performance.
• Manage Basic Order Agreements including quoting, PO reviews, and Task Order management.
• Oversee spares/repair quoting, order management, and service contract proposals for integrations and training.
• Coordinate service event planning and parts/materials availability with stakeholders.
• Support field technicians during events and facilitate follow-up with Saab teams.
• Coordinate spares/repairs with Contracts, Finance, CM, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering and Test.
• Track on-time delivery and key program metrics; manage cost, schedule, quality objectives.
• Contribute to Saab financial planning with revenue forecasts and order projections.
• Analyze failure trends; request RCCA, report findings to customers, and mitigate inventory risk.
• Complete system handovers with Production PM for clear transition of responsibilities.
• Develop customer reports aligned with the customer model; present updates at PMRs.
• Ensure compliance with Saab SOPs and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Travel up to 15% annually domestically and internationally.
