Saab AB in the United States seeks a Post-Delivery Program Manager to oversee sustainment activities after hardware delivery to DoD customers. You will coordinate with leadership, customers, and Saab teams to ensure performance, quality, and continuous improvement throughout fielded systems’ lifecycles.

The role requires strong program management, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration with a focus on risk mitigation and timely execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience in Project Management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Visio, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills, with the ability to follow up on action items and requests in a timely manner.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, decentralized environment.
• Understanding of quality and continuous improvement concepts and principles, including Lean and Six Sigma
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working with employees and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to drive and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Must currently hold a Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for post-delivery activities, coordinating with program leadership, customers, and internal stakeholders as appropriate.
• Provide leadership and oversight of depot and customer support activities, including prioritization, resource planning, and cost/schedule performance.
• Manage Basic Order Agreements between Saab and customers, including quoting, purchase order reviews, and Task Order Management.
• Manage spares and repair quoting, order management, and service contract proposals for integration, testing, and training.
• Coordinate service event planning with TSM, customers, engineers, and field techs, ensuring parts and materials are available.
• Support field technicians during events by coordinating parts and follow-up discussions with Saab teams.
• Coordinate spares and repairs with cross-functional teams, including Contracts, Finance, Configuration Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Test.
• Track on-time delivery and other key program metrics, ensuring cost, schedule, and quality objectives are managed across sustainment activities.
• Participate in Saab's financial planning cycles by providing revenue forecasts and order projection feedback.
• Analyze failure trends to drive improvements, request RCCA reports, communicate findings to customers, and identify and mitigate customer inventory risks.
• Complete system handovers with the appropriate Production Program Manager to ensure a clear transition of responsibilities and relevant information.
• Develop customer reports aligned with the customer's model and present program updates during formal Saab and customer PMRs.
• Ensure compliance with Saab SOPs and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Travel up to 15% annually, both domestically and internationally.
