Job summary

Saab AB in the United States is seeking a Post-Delivery Program Manager to oversee sustainment activities for fielded systems delivered to DoD customers. You will coordinate with program leadership, customers, and Saab teams to ensure performance, quality, and risk mitigation across the lifecycle.

The role requires strong leadership, program management, and a focus on continuous improvement. Travel up to 15% is anticipated as part of customer and field support activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Business, or related discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with 3+ years
• Experience in a collaborative team environment
• Experience in Project Management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Visio, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, decentralized environment
• Understanding of quality and continuous improvement concepts (Lean/Six Sigma)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Must currently hold a Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sustainment operations and coordinate with program leadership, customers, and Saab teams
• Provide leadership and oversight of depot and customer support activities including cost and schedule performance
• Manage spares, repairs, and service contracts for integration, testing and training
• Coordinate service event planning with customers, Saab engineers, and field technicians
• Track on-time delivery and key program metrics across sustainment activities
• Contribute to Saab’s financial planning with revenue forecasts and order projections
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive process optimization
• Travel up to 15% annually (domestic and international)
