Job summary

Saab, Inc. in the United States seeks a Post-Delivery Program Manager to oversee sustainment activities for multiple DoD customer programs after hardware delivery.

You will serve as the primary contact for post-delivery activities, coordinating with program leadership, customers, and Saab teams across the lifecycle of fielded systems. The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and a focus on quality, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement, with up to 15% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment and in Project Management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Visio, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, decentralized environment.
• Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma concepts.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must currently hold a Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for post-delivery activities with leadership, customers, and Saab teams.
• Provide programmatic leadership of depot and customer support activities, including prioritization and resource planning.
• Manage Basic Order Agreements, quotes, PO reviews, and Task Order Management.
• Handle spares/repair quoting, orders, and service contracts for integrations and on-site support.
• Coordinate service event planning with Technical Support Manager, customers, and Saab staff.
• Support field technicians by coordinating parts and follow-up discussions.
• Coordinate spares and repairs with Contracts, Finance, CM, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Test.
• Track on-time delivery and key metrics; manage cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Contribute to financial planning with revenue forecasts and order projections.
• Analyze failure trends, request RCCA, and communicate findings; mitigate inventory risks.
• Complete system handovers with Production Program Manager for clear responsibility transition.
• Develop customer reports and present updates during PMRs with Saab and customers.
• Ensure compliance with Saab SOPs and identify process improvements.
• Travel up to 15% annually, domestic and international.
