Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to provide timely service for customer sites within the assigned territory. You will troubleshoot, repair, and test POS hardware, laser printers, scales, wrappers, and network equipment, while maintaining accurate inventory and meticulous documentation.

The role requires patient customer interactions, the ability to travel about 150 miles with occasional overnight stays, and a strong hands-on approach to equipment

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service orientation (Required)
• Basic Break/Fix computer skills (Required)
• Basic PC operations/software knowledge (Required)
• Excellent oral and written communication (Required)
• Understanding of Networks and Wireless devices (Preferred)
• Proficient with common hand tools and test equipment (Required)
• Ability to work independently and in a team (Required)
• Detail oriented and organized (Required)

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests in a timely manner and document details thoroughly
• Interact with store personnel and TRUNO team clearly and professionally
• Maintain regular and after-hours availability as needed
• Travel within a 150-mile radius with limited overnight stays
• Troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair, and test in-store equipment
• Provide preventative maintenance for POS hardware and related equipment
• Configure software/hardware, perform installs and upgrades as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies
