Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to respond to service requests for customer sites within the assigned territory. You will troubleshoot and repair POS hardware, laser printers, scales, wrappers, and related network equipment, while maintaining inventory and documentation.

The role requires after-hours availability, travel within ~150 miles, and a strong focus on customer service and accuracy. Associates degree preferred and CompTIA certs are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of technology service experience preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office required.
• Practical experience with electronics/technology hardware preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests in a timely manner and document details.
• Communicate with store personnel and Truno team clearly.
• Work regular hours and be available for after-hours as needed.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius with limited overnight travel.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test in-store equipment.
• Use basic power tools and perform preventive maintenance.
• Configure software/hardware, installs and upgrades as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality, meet deadlines.
